Job description

Job Summary:ย SEACORP is seeking Sensor Technicians at variouslevels. TheTechnician performs troubleshooting and repairs on circuit cards, modules, andassemblies used in U.S. Navy Navigation systems. This person plays a criticalrole in keeping high-value electronic systems operational by diagnosing andrepairing inertial systems such as: Fathometers, Depth Detectors,ย  Dead Reckoning Indicators,ย  Electromagnetic Logs, NAVAIDs (SynchroAmplifiers, Binoculars, Compasses), Digital and AnalogRepeaters - Panel and Pelorus support.

Job Responsibilities Include:ย 

  • Perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance on legacy inertial navigation systems and support equipment onboard Navy ships to include submarines.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic components in accordance with NAVSEA and DoD
    technical manuals.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking for troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with engineers and customers.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Navy maintenance procedures, Navy drawings, and MIL-STD documentation preferred.
