Job description

LUNSETH is a rapidly growing company specializing in organic turf management and lawn care services since 2007. We are currently seeking an Applicator for Natural Lawn Care to join our team. In this role, you will work on residential and commercial properties using both synthetic and natural/organic products, while also assisting in landscaping, lawn care, and snow removal as needed. We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality service, consistent communication, and professional standards. With this position, we are currently offering snow removal with guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities
  • Load lawn care products and tools into truck daily
  • Supervise and assist 1-3 team members in accomplishing daily tasks
  • Use a tablet to read job descriptions, field notes, and must-dos, while navigating to job sites and completing tasks in a timely manner
  • Fill in other roles when necessary, including snow removal, landscaping, lawn mowing, and shop upkeep
  • Operate a truck + trailer, as well as lawn care equipment such as Z-spray, Perma Green, aerator, and slit-seeder
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license
  • Valid applicator license or ability to study for and pass the test before spring (LUNSETH will pay for class/test with 3 opportunities to pass)
  • Customer service or horticulture background
  • Experience operating fertilizing equipment such as a Z-spray or Perma Green
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and walk several miles each day
  • Proficient in reading and understanding English
  • Horticulture background or industry experience is preferred, but not necessary
  • Must be able to work independently and efficiently, and comply with all federal, state, local, and company regulations regarding the application of pesticides and fertilizer
