Language Trainers is an international language training company working with freelance teachers of 99+ languages in hundreds of cities worldwide. Founded in 2004, our motto is Any Language, Anytime, Anywhere.
We provide customized language training to professionals and private students for work, family, and travel purposes.
📍 Position Details
We are currently looking for a Brazilian Portuguese teacher for one of our clients in Yonkers, United States.

  • Format: one-to-one (2 students back-to-back lessons)
  • Total Hours: 30
  • Session length: 1.5 hours. 45 min each
  • Location: Client's home in Yonkers, 10580.
  • Students' Level: Lower intermediate/intermediate
  • Students' Ages: 17 and 10 yo
  • Schedule: Wednesday or Thursday will be best. After school between 3 and 7pm
  • Start Date: Early September
  • Motivation: We lived for 1 yr in Brazil and now are back in the US. I want them to continue the conversational Portuguese they learn

  • Be a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
  • Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
  • Have a valid work permit/visa
  • Live within 20 miles of the specified location
