Overview

HEYDUDE is seeking a Visual Merchandising Manager, Wholesale to lead its North American wholesale VM efforts. The Manager of Visual Merchandising is responsible for assisting with the ideation and implementation of Visual Merchandising strategies and standards within the wholesale environments. This position brings VM strategies to life and help stores execute efficiently and flawlessly. They will handle all aspects of maintaining brand presentation, campaign updates and any training needed within the wholesale environment.

What You'll Do
  • Develop account specific visual merchandising solutions for top tier partners, priority doors, and shop-in-shop concepts.
  • Proactively develop in-store renders to assist with sell-in of key programs and initiatives.
  • Develop and own the wholesale fixture ordering processes including budget, tracking inventory, reorders and lifecycle management.
  • Support key account in-store initiatives, POP kit development and rollout, shop-in-shop programs, and any customized fixture solutions.
  • Build and maintain visual presentation standards and guidelines specific to wholesale.
  • Lead and manage third-party field merchandising agency responsible for implementing visual display guidelines across wholesale partner stores.
  • Partner with agency to plan visit cadence, coverage strategy, and prioritization by account tier, volume, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Review and approve store visit reports, photos, and feedback to assess execution quality, compliance, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to align field execution with business priorities and door-specific needs.
  • Manage budgets related to third-party merchandising services, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with scope of work.
  • Stay current on footwear retail trends, consumer behavior, and competitive merchandising to keep the brand relevant and differentiated.
  • Oversee design and development managing the end-to-end process of graphics, fixtures, and furnishings ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery for trade shows and trade show environments.
  • Own relationships with external vendors to execute designs within budget and on time.
  • Partner with Wholesale marketing leads on account associate events (e.g. managers meetings, associate trainings) to ensure elevated branding and VM experience.
  • Lead the graphic and VM needs for key external sell-in meetings and internal brand conferences on behalf of wholesale, ensuring brand presence is impactful, cohesive, and aligned with seasonal business goals.
What You'll Bring to the Table
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience in related field.
  • At least 5+ years of retail or visual merchandising experience in the footwear/apparel industry.
  • Software including Adobe Suite, In Design, SketchUp.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, always-changing environment.
  • Idea-driven, ability to take initiative, and a creative problem solver.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to handle multiple priorities a must.

Title: Visual Merchandising Manager, Wholesale 

Salary or Pay Range: $87,000 - $97,000 

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

Your participation in this flexible schedule plays a key role in building a connected and successful team. In-office requirements vary by our work personas: Resident (5 days), Collaborator (4 days), Connector (2-3 days), Explorer (fully remote). This role has been aligned to the Collaborator persona.
