Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or managing chronic conditions
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as directed by the supervising therapist
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any concerns or changes to the supervising therapist
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, mobility techniques, and injury prevention strategies
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Adhere to all safety protocols and confidentiality standards
Skills and Qualifications:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Valid state licensure or certification as a PTA

Graduate of a school with PTA curriculum approved by CAPTE or its successor organizations or meet any other Home Health Care Conditions of Participation PTA 42 requirements as outlined in 42 CFR 418.114(b)(8)- 418.114(b)(8) (ii) (A) (4). Successfully passed a national PTA examination recognized by the APTA. Minimum of one year of PTA experience in a health care setting, home health care experience preferred.
