Position Overview:
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) will support and execute all aspects of Altitude's operations, including guest services, food and beverage, team training, and overall park management. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the AGM will collaborate closely to ensure operational excellence, a positive guest experience, and a work culture that reflects Altitude's brand and values. The AGM must be a strategic, motivated leader who is passionate about creating a safe, engaging, and memorable environment for every visitor.

Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral
  • Work with and support the General Manager; assume GM responsibilities in their absence to maintain smooth park operations.
  • Coach and develop a large, diverse team through clear written and verbal communication, promoting a positive and cohesive work environment.
  • Manage all facets of operations, including inventory, labor, and regular financial reporting, ensuring all activities align with Altitude standards and guidelines.
  • Establish and uphold Altitude standards, policies, and expectations, ensuring consistent guest service and operational efficiency.
  • Track and oversee facility spending, ensuring all expenses align with park policies.
People Development
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard top talent, creating a supportive, growth-oriented workplace where team members are empowered to succeed.
  • Ensure team members are trained to meet their job responsibilities and equipped to deliver positive guest experiences.
  • Develop team members by establishing profitability goals and rewarding positive behaviors.
  • Set and hold high expectations of accountability, celebrating successes and guiding improvements.
  • Identify and develop high-potential team members for greater responsibility or promotions within Altitude.
Sales & Financial Performance
  • Collaborate with the support center team to implement sales and marketing plans.
  • Manage the budget and business plan to meet or exceed financial goals, making adjustments as needed.
  • Draft, communicate, and hold team members accountable for individual and departmental goals.
Guest Experience & Safety
  • Create an exceptional Altitude guest experience by ensuring superior operations and service.
  • Actively seek and respond to guest feedback to inform management and hourly team development.
