Job Summary:
Pacific Mobile is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our Construction Services team in Riverside. Our Construction Services division is a collaborative, high-performing team that manages over $100 million in commercial modular construction projects annually. Projects range from standard factory-built structure placements to complete turnkey permanent modular construction projects. As a Project Manager, you will oversee projects from inception through closeout, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position serves as the primary point of coordination between customers, subcontractors, inspectors, architects, engineers, and internal project teams to ensure successful project execution.

Pay rate: $85,000 - $100,000


Essential Functions:

  • Manage commercial modular construction projects from project kickoff through final closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Review subcontractor submittals and coordinate approvals with architects, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Interpret project plans, specifications, geotechnical reports, and construction documents.
  • Prepare and negotiate subcontract agreements and manage project cost coding and budget estimates.
  • Manage project change orders, including scope development, pricing negotiations, and client communication.
  • Coordinate daily project activities with project coordinators, site superintendents, subcontractors, and field personnel.
  • Maintain open communication between project stakeholders and facilitate conflict resolution when necessary.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with contract requirements.
  • Review subcontractor billings, pay applications, and Schedule of Values (SOV) milestone billings with the Project Accountant.
  • Prepare and distribute project closeout documentation, including Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and applicable regulations.
  • Participate in annual Construction Services team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience in commercial construction.
  • Previous field construction and modular construction experience preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously from planning through completion.
  • OSHA 10-Hour Certification preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of commercial construction practices, project scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, geotechnical reports, and other technical documents.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, ethical, and results-oriented.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Microsoft Project, and Dynamics 365 (D365).
  • Working knowledge of Bluebeam Revu or similar construction document management software.
  • Experience using project management software to successfully manage construction projects
