Job description

Overview

Position: Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist

Location:  Bethlehem, PA

Schedule: PRN Monday-Friday. Clinic hours 8am-7pm. 

Compensation: hourly rate is $55-$60/hr based on your experience.

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Hand Therapist-Occupational Therapist for our outpatient orthopedic center in Bethlehem.  CHT or hand experience preferred but Level II Hand Therapy Minimum Experience; New Graduates are welcome to come aboard & grow with a great clinical team. Mentorship under a CHT provided.

Responsibilities
  • Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
  • High Standard of Care: Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
  • Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge.
  • Relationship-Building: Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) -accredited school of occupational therapy
  • CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
  • Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
