Overview

Position: Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist

Location: 2800 E Ajo Way, Suite 201 Tucson, AZ 85713

Incentives: $20,000 Bonus and $350/month Student Loan Repayment

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday

Banner Physical Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Hand Therapist-Occupational Therapist for ourย outpatient orthopedic center! While CHT certification is preferred, we enthusiastically welcome applicants preparing for the exam or those with extensive hand therapy experience.

Responsibilities
  • Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
  • High Standard of Care: Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
  • Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge.
  • Relationship-Building: Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) -accredited school of occupational therapy
  • CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
  • Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
