  • Provide guidance to production planners on planning best practices and maintaining data integrity.

  • Lead inventory control initiatives and projects that improve efficiency and accuracy.

  • Monitor surplus inventory, support action plans for excess materials, and coordinate redistribution of surplus parts across sites.

  • Negotiate with brokers to sell surplus inventory and manage the scrapping process in accordance with company procedures.

  • Support physical inventory counts and ensure compliance with inventory control processes.

  • Build productive relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and key stakeholders to achieve operational goals.

  • 2–4 years of experience in inventory management, production planning, materials planning, or a related manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of inventory management principles, production planning, scheduling, material requirements planning (MRP), and manufacturing control systems.

  • Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency with business applications and inventory management systems.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong negotiation and issue-resolution abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace, electronics, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.

  • Familiarity with engineering change processes and product build lifecycles.

  • Experience leading inventory improvement projects or continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
