Job description

WHY FIVE STAR?
Five Star Home Services is a family-owned residential HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical company that has served Ohio communities for more than 50 years.
Our mission is simple: WE SERVE THOSE IN NEED.
Through our Profit on Purpose program, Five Star donates 10% of our profits back to the communities we serve, including significant support for individuals and families impacted by addiction and recovery.
Full-Time | Weekly Pay | Comprehensive Benefits
RESIDENTIAL HOME SERVICES EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
This is not an entry-level coordinator position. Candidates must have prior residential HVAC, Plumbing, AND Electrical coordination experience to be considered.
Five Star Home Services is looking for an experienced Install Coordinator who understands what it takes to move a sold home-services job from the sales handoff to a successful installation.
You'll coordinate customers, schedules, payments, equipment, parts, documentation, inspections, and field teams to make sure every job is ready to go-and keep problems from reaching the customer or the crew.
If you've coordinated residential HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical work before, you already know: the details behind the scenes can make or break the job.
WHAT YOU GET
  • Weekly pay
  • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance after 90 days
  • Company HSA contributions with High Deductible Health Plan enrollment
  • 401(k) with up to 4% company match after 90 days
  • Paid Time Off after 90 days
  • Six (6) Paid Holidays
  • Choose Your Five Star Elective Company Benefit: Select a Five Star Home Services Home Maintenance Plan for your home (or a direct relative's home if you're not a homeowner) OR receive $150 in Five Star Company Store credits each quarter
  • Company-Paid Benefits: Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, $25,000 Life Insurance, Maternity & Paternity Pay, and Employee Assistance Program.
  • Additional Voluntary Benefits: Accident, Critical Illness, Voluntary Life, Norton LifeLock & Spot Pet Insurance

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Your job is to make sure sold work becomes successfully completed work.
You'll:
  • Convert sold estimates into scheduled jobs quickly and accurately
  • Verify payments and financing before jobs are scheduled
  • Confirm equipment and required parts are available before installation
  • Coordinate HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical installation schedules
  • Communicate scheduling information, changes, and delays to customers and field teams
  • Coordinate OUPS, utility requirements, failed inspections, re-inspections, and corrective work
  • Maintain complete and accurate customer and job information in the CRM
  • Register installed equipment with the appropriate manufacturers
  • Manage work orders, estimates, payments, documentation, and signatures through the Lowe's portal
  • Identify scheduling gaps and help maximize available field capacity
  • Support managers and technicians with the information and resources needed to complete jobs successfully
  • Provide backup Customer Service and Dispatch coverage when business needs require it

These responsibilities directly reflect the position's accountability for job scheduling, payment verification, equipment availability, partner coordination, failed inspections, parts availability, CRM accuracy, customer communication, Lowe's administration, and equipment registration.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required - Non-Negotiable:
  • Prior residential HVAC, Plumbing, & Electrical installation/service coordination experience
  • Experience coordinating technicians, installers, customers, equipment, and job schedules in a residential home-services environment
  • Understanding of the operational workflow from sold estimate โ†’ scheduling โ†’ job preparation โ†’ field execution โ†’ job completion
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple jobs, schedules, and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong customer communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer and technology proficiency
  • Experience working with CRM, dispatch, scheduling, or field-service management software

Candidates without residential home-services coordination experience across HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical may be considered for this position at managements discretion.
Preferred:
  • ServiceTitan experience
  • Lowe's installation program/portal experience
  • Manufacturer equipment-registration experience
  • Experience coordinating inspections, permits, utilities, financing, and equipment procurement

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Our strongest Install Coordinators don't wait for problems to show up on installation day.
They make sure:
Payment is verified. Equipment is available. Parts are ready. The customer knows what's happening. The schedule is accurate. Documentation is complete. The field team has what they need.
They know how residential home-service operations work and understand how one missed detail can create a callback, reschedule, unhappy customer, or lost production.
The Job Scorecard reinforces that expectation through specific performance standards around scheduling efficiency, payment and equipment verification, dispatch-board utilization, parts availability, CRM accuracy, customer communication, equipment registration, and backup operational readiness.
If you already know how to coordinate residential HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical operations and you're looking for a role where organization, urgency, and follow-through matter, we want to hear from you.
Apply today to join Five Star Home Services.
Job Type: Full-time
The pay range for this role is:
