Job description

Job Posting Title: Executive Assistant, National Geographic Req ID: 10157512 Job Summary Executive Assistant provides executive support to the SVP, Production Services and Operations and VP of Production Services at National Geographic Content. Production Services & Operations partners with various internal client groups to Ingest, QC, Produce, Edit, Sound Design and Distribute content across all distribution platforms and operates as an "in-house" production service team to create short-form and long-form derivative content from the NG archive which requires manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables with third party vendors. Responsibilities Managing the Executive's schedule, meetings, agendas, deadlines and communications across multiple time zones Handling travel arrangements and expenses Creating and synthesizing data-driven reports and presentations for high level executives at National Geographic and Disney Coordinating with internal stakeholders Overseeing departmental budget Supporting administrative tasks, including mail, supplies, and vendor relations Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Preferably 1-2 years of experience working as a Production Coordinator, Production Assistant, Administrative Assistant or Intern Some knowledge of production and post-production processes and logistics in addition to familiarity with broadcast deliverables and technical specifications a plus. Experience working with international clients a plus. Required Education Bachelor's degree Hiring Range The hiring range for this position in Washington, D.C. is $59,600.00 to $79,800.00 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
