Job Summary:
Our Sales Representative is a motivated, results-driven leader of our dynamic sales team. They understand what motivates customers to buy and know how to tap into those needs and desires in an effective way. Our Sales Representative is responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. They live by our company motto and are dedicated to improving the lives of the people we serve.
Responsible for Sales, Training, and Service of technical products in the Educational market in Northern California and Nevada. Equipment lines include 3D printers, laser engraver/cutting machines, CNC equipment, robotics, mechatronics and Industry 4.0 training systems, 3D scanners, large format print & cut devices, and other Career and Technical education / industrial training equipment.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily, with or without accommodations. Essential Job Functions:
  • Meet established division sales and profitability goals
  • Meet established sales metric goals for face time, proposals, and close rate
    • Minimum of 3 days per week and 9 face-to-face appointments
  • Exceed customer expectations as evidenced by customer surveys
  • Exceed internal and external customer expectations for quality and service
  • Timely response to a request for information, including returning all calls as quickly as possible (within 24 hours)
  • Establish and manage subcontractor relationships
  • Perform all work in a "Can Do" customer-friendly manner
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • To successfully perform this job the employee should possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Be detail-oriented and conscientious and be self-motivated.
  • The employee must also have the ability to foster positive team relationships with vendors and fellow employees.
  • Be able to learn the specification and technical details of the products we distribute as well as those of our competition, and use professionalism and ethical judgment in all areas of the position.
  • The employee must have previous sale experience, experience with solution selling methods on commission-based sales, a strong understanding of customer service and basic business principles, knowledge of up-to-date selling techniques, and creative ways to generate new business.
  • Have a proven ability to meet and/or exceed projected sales goals in prior roles. Such qualifications would normally be found in an individual with a bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent related work experience.
