The Shipping Clerk is responsible for maintaining an accurate finished goods inventory and shipping product to Parco's customers.
Responsibilities
  • Completes a daily time card
  • Follows sales orders to ship computer report
  • Follows site safety rules
  • Adheres to the site Quality Policy
  • Counts, packages, and labels parts for inventory and shipping
  • Enters shipping data into the ERP system
  • Paints non permanent color code on finished parts
  • Packages parts individually by hand
  • Engraves parts by hand
  • Engraves parts using a marking machine
  • Assembles O-ring kits
  • Coats parts with silicone, armorall, or customer specified lubricant
  • Follows customer specific shipping instructions
  • Follows additional duties as required by customer/business changes

Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • Minimum experience of 6 months in a shipping department
  • Must read, write, and speak English
  • Must have or be able to obtain a permit to operate a forklift
  • Overtime and weekend work may be required
  • This position requires the use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in an area where temperature varies from 60 to 105°F
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand on a concrete floor for up to 10 hours per day
