KANSAS SPEEDWAY
Kansas Speedway, which opened in 2001, is located in the heart of the Midwest in Kansas City, Kansas. With easy access to major highways, along with the Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway, restaurants, shopping and other entertainment, Kansas Speedway has easily become a destination for fans. The track hosts two NASCAR Cup Series races, the NASCAR Xfinity Series, the NASCAR Gander RV and Outdoors Truck Series and the ARCA Menards Series. In addition to two race weekends, Kansas Speedway hosts over 200 event days each year.
Kansas Speedway is searching for parking attendants with great attitudes and customer service to join our Parking Services team. Parking Services employees are responsible for directing Kansas Speedway guest traffic safely to open parking spots as directed.. Event staff must be able to work race weekends April 17-19,. 2026 and/or September 25-27, 2026.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate parking area to ensure optimal utilization
  • Maintain safety of all guests on inbound traffic as well as exiting guests safely off the property
  • Ensure compliance to safety regulations and company policies
  • Ensure traffic flow and parking allows for access of emergency vehicles
  • Maintain knowledge of facility and event, i.e. providing directions and answering event questions
  • Assist with clean-up of debris from parking lots when needed
  • Utilize hand signals, flags and lights to direct guests into open spots
  • Position and move barricades, cones and signage as needed
  • Manage and resolve guest questions while providing excellent customer service
  • Communicate with management with relevant information of guests violating rules or if suspicious activity is observed
  • Cell phone usage is not allowed while directing traffic

Qualifications:
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
  • Requires the ability to walk long distances and stand for entire shift
  • Must be able to work in all-weather elements including windy, muddy, rainy, snow, sleet and extreme temperatures
  • Must be able to commit to entire shift of work time
  • Must possess the ability to lift up to 25 pounds to move cones and barricades
  • Individuals driving rental vehicles and/or golf carts must possess a valid driver's license and pass a motor vehicle record review inspection
