Campaign Strategy Senior Manager

Cooley is seeking a Campaign Strategy Senior Manager to join the Marketing and Client Development team.

Position summary:Thisrole is part of the Strategy, Transformation & Growth Team, which acts as the firm's "central nervous system," building the scalable infrastructure and data-backed frameworks that allow Marketing & Client Development to move from reactive execution to proactive, high-impact strategy. It ensures that strategic choices and unique brand differentiating experiences (spanning high-end events to targeted digital channels) are translated into repeatable, optimized market performance that makes the firm stand out in market.Specificduties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Position responsibilities:

  • Journey Mapping & Design:Lead the end-to-end mapping of specific client journeys, translating BU marketing plans into detailed tactical flows that account for every touchpoint across the lifecycle.

  • Standardized Journey Development:Develop andmaintaina library of "Standard Journey" templates (e.g., event nurture, thought leadership launch, lateral hire integration) to ensure repeatable, high-quality execution.

  • Tactical Coordination & Connectivity:Ensure every tactic within a campaign-from a social ad to a post-event email-is technically and narratively connected to the next logical step in the client journey.

  • Real-Time Performance Optimization:Monitorcampaign health in collaboration with the Insights team, making immediate tactical adjustments to creative, targeting, or cadence to maximize engagement.

  • Personalization Execution:Define and implement the specific segmentation and dynamic content rulesrequiredto effectuate the personalization strategy for individual campaigns.

  • BU Stakeholder Validation:Partner closely with BU Marketers to ensure the designed journeys accurately reflect the needs of the business and the nuances of the practice groups.

  • Channel Integration Management:Work dailyacrossthe Digital Experience team to ensure the technical setup of the journey aligns with the strategic intent.

  • UAT & Quality Oversight:Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for complex multi-touch journeys, ensuring that logic branches, tracking links, and automation triggers function flawlessly beforelaunch.

  • Reporting & Feedback Loops:Synthesize campaign-level insights into actionable feedback for BU stakeholders, providing "post-mortem" analysis and recommendations for future planning cycles.

  • Content Coordination:Team across the content team on the development of all necessary assets for the campaign, ensuring they are staged and ready for the execution teams.

  • People Leader:

  • Serve as direct supervisor and mentor to direct reports

  • Provide day-to-day supervision of direct reports, ensure compliance with assigned workhoursandmonitor forcompliance with all firm and department policies. Manage staffing coverage,reviewand process time logs/time off requests

  • Support business professional development and continued educational opportunities

  • In collaboration with immediate supervisor and central HR,participatein hiring, performance appraisals, counseling,terminationand other employee lifecycle events

  • All other duties as assigned orrequired

Skills and experience:

Required:

  • After orientation at Cooley LLP, exhibitproficiencyintheMicrosoftOffice suite,iManageand other firmapplications

  • Ability to work extended and/or weekend hours, asrequired

  • Ability to travel, asrequired

  • 5+yearsapplicable experience in the field (e.g.,marketing or business development, preferably with an emphasis working in a strategy, transformation, or growth function)

  • Demonstrated success in design and mapping of customer journeys across the client lifecycle,including advisingon marketing/channel mix to support andoptimizeend-to-end buying journeys

  • Advanced data storytelling skills, including ability to distill insights andidentifyopportunities tooptimizecampaign/channel effectiveness

  • Hands-on experience with CRM, web, orchestration, analytics, and project management technologies

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Supervisory experience

  • Prior legal industryor professional services experience

Cooley offers a competitive compensation and excellent benefits package and is committed to fair and equitable employment practices. EOE.

The expected annual pay range for this position with a full-time schedule is $185,000 - $225,000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
