Nance International, Inc. is seeking professional chiller technicians that are dependable, friendly, and eager to support our expanding Commercial Industrial Service Operations. POSITION SUMMARY:

We are searching for a Chiller Technician who will install, diagnose, repair and maintain various large tonnage Commercial systems and their associated equipment. Also, perform accurate and timely diagnostics of mechanical, electronic and hermetically sealed components.

POSITION DUTIES:

  • Walks, stands and climbs ladders
  • Works indoors and outdoors
  • Operates various testing instruments
  • Reads schematic and wiring diagrams
  • Properly performs soldering & brazing of piping and components
  • Properly handles and transfers refrigerants, per EPA requirement
  • Administrative duties – OSHA, timesheets, e-mails, text messages, daily reporting

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Trade School certificate or Apprenticeship program
  • Valid TX Driver’s License
  • Ability to pass Background Investigation
  • Pass initial and random Drug & Alcohol screenings
  • EPA certificate
  • OSHA 30 or ability to complete it within 90 days
  • TWIC
  • 10 Years of related experience
  • Able to regularly lift 50 pounds
  • Great customer service skills and neat appearance
  • Works well in a team environment
