This role is highly execution-oriented and requires proactive problem solving and the ability to manage a fast-paced environment.

1. ERP / Material Visibility

Q: What systems, transactions, reports, or tools do you routinely use to determine material availability/supply risk?

2. Shortage logic

Q: An order is short material to complete a repair. Describe some of the steps you might take to determine why the shortage exists and what actions you would take to resolve it.

3. Prioritization

Q: Multiple orders require the same limited material and demand exceeds supply for the foreseeable future. What factors would you consider when determining priority?

4. Data & reporting

Q: What types of analysis, reports, dashboards, or tools have you built or maintained to support a business?

As a Materials Management Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our materials management processes, ensuring that our supply chain operates efficiently and effectively to meet customer demands.

You will report directly to our Materials Planning Supervisor, and report out of the Clearwater, FL plant.

In this role, you will impact the overall efficiency of our supply chain by managing inventory levels, analyzing material requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Implement material intercompany purchasing, material planning, production planning, inventory control, shipping/receiving and stores functions to ensure correct supply levels for operation.

You are responsible to resolve material related issues due to supply-based problems, inventory errors or demand changes.

You are the liaison of cross functions and internal stakeholders, such as planning, operations, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze material inventory position, shortages, and supply risks

Investigate and resolve material-related issues caused by supply disruptions

Monitor shortage reports, open demand, and past due materials

Coordinate daily with Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to understand and resolve material shortages

Escalate critical shortages with clear communication and recommended actions

Develop and maintain reports, trackers, and analysis to improve material visibility, shortage management, and operational decision making

Ensure execution of critical tasks to support shop performance and customer satisfaction

YOU MUST HAVE:

3+ years of experience in Planning Experience with MRP/ERP Systems/SAP Experience in manufacturing planning

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (namely Excel, Access, Power BI)
