Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer or Architect / Project Manager to lead design and delivery on federal facilities projects, spanning federal healthcare facilities (VA, DoD medical treatment facilities) and broader military and government installations. This role is primarily a project leadership position: the successful candidate will be accountable for managing schedule, budget, and quality across the full design process, from proposal through construction close-out, while coordinating a multidisciplinary technical team.

The ideal candidate combines a strong engineering or architecture background with proven experience running federal design projects — someone comfortable owning the schedule, controlling scope and budget, driving quality control, and keeping the design process on track across multiple concurrent projects and federal agency stakeholders. This role also carries significant client-facing and subcontractor/consultant oversight responsibility, serving as the primary point of contact for federal agency clients and managing the performance of subconsultants and trade partners supporting the design effort
