Job description

The role involves performing inspections in accordance with applicable codes and project requirements, ensuring that all aspects of the work align with plans and specifications. Responsibilities include conducting field testing and inspections, reviewing project documents, and executing inspections accordingly. Clear communication of findings with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders is essential, along with accurately documenting results and observations in daily reports.
The ideal candidate must be a current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) with structural and/or bridge experience, along with one of the following: NDT Level II certification in UT Shearwave and Magnetic Particle Testing (PAUT experience is a plus); NACE Level II or III certification; or ICC certification in Structural Steel and Bolting, with a willingness to obtain the ICC Firestopping certification.
