Job description

The NAAB Operations & Member Services Coordinator will support the operational effectiveness, communication, and administrative coordination of the Association while helping strengthen member engagement and industry visibility. The role will work closely with the President, International Program Director, staff, committees, and industry stakeholders to improve organizational coordination, document and standardize key processes, support strategic initiatives, and enhance NAAB's external communications and marketing activities.

This position requires a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented individual who is comfortable operating in a small, fast-paced association environment with broad responsibilities and regular interaction with industry leaders and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience in operations coordination, project coordination, association management, marketing, communications, or related roles
  • Experience supporting senior leadership and managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience coordinating projects, meetings, committees, and cross-functional activities
  • Experience developing or maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, or organizational workflows
  • Strong written communication and presentation development skills
  • Experience with website content management, digital communications, CRM systems, or marketing platforms preferred
  • Two-year or four-year degree in business administration, communications, marketing, agriculture, association management, or related field
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, prioritization, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a lean organization with evolving priorities
  • Dairy, beef, agriculture, export, or trade association experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Organizational Coordination

  • Support the President and International Program Director in coordinating operational priorities and strategic initiatives
  • Assist in documenting and maintaining SOPs for key organizational processes and workflows
  • Coordinate meetings, committees, agendas, materials, action tracking, and follow-up activities
  • Support execution and tracking of strategic projects, KPIs, and organizational priorities
  • Improve administrative coordination and operational consistency across the organization

Marketing & Member Communications

  • Coordinate member communications, newsletters, announcements, and external messaging
  • Support updates and maintenance of website and digital communication channels
  • Assist with development of presentations, Board materials, member reports, and industry communications
  • Help improve NAAB visibility, member engagement, and communication consistency
  • Support coordination of industry meetings, events, trade activities, and stakeholder engagement initiatives

Stakeholder & Industry Support

  • Maintain professional interaction with members, regulators, industry organizations, and international stakeholders
  • Assist with coordination of market access communications and industry outreach activities
  • Support tracking and follow-up of industry issues, committee activities, and stakeholder requests
