As a Senior Software Engineer<\/b> on the API & Infrastructure team, you will design and build distributed, cloud\-native systems that power precision agriculture at global scale.\n

• Help to architect highly available, resilient APIs serving millions of requests daily<\/span>\n

• Design scalable data access patterns across relational, NoSQL, and object storage systems<\/span>\n

• Drive technical direction for cloud\-native application development in Azure<\/span>\n

  • Design and implement scalable, highly available RESTful APIs using C# and modern .NET<\/span>\n

  • Define and evolve service architectures supporting high throughput and low latency<\/span>\n
    <\/li>\n
  • Make informed decisions around distributed systems tradeoffs (consistency, availability, scalability)<\/span>\n
    <\/li>\n
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define reliable data contracts and service boundaries<\/span>\n

    • Build and maintain cloud\-native services in Microsoft Azure<\/span>\n

    • Design and maintain CI\/CD pipelines in GitLab<\/span>\n

    • Implement infrastructure patterns that support resiliency, fault tolerance, horizontal scalability, and cost efficiency<\/span>\n

      Performance, Reliability & Observability<\/span><\/b>\n

      • Optimize APIs for performance under heavy load- including the seasonal spikes that come when millions of acres of equipment hit the field simultaneously during planting and harvest<\/span>\n
        <\/li>\n
      • Implement structured logging, tracing, and monitoring using tools such as Datadog<\/span>\n
        <\/li>\n
      • Participate in production support and incident response<\/span>\n
        <\/li>\n
      • Continuously improve system reliability and operational maturity<\/span>\n

          Experience Required<\/span><\/b>\n
          <\/p>\n

          • Experienced engineer with 5+ years of career experience, with Bachelor's degree.  3+ years experience with Master's degree.  <\/span>\n
            <\/li>\n
          • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.  <\/span>\n
            <\/li>\n
          • Demonstrated leadership abilities.  <\/span>\n
            <\/li>\n
          • Capable of defining appropriate approaches and solutions.  <\/span>\n
            <\/li>\n
          • Furthers knowledge of profession through continued education and\/or seeking or providing mentorship.   <\/span>\n

            Preferred Qualifications<\/span><\/b>\n
            <\/p>\n

            • Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, and modern .NET<\/span>\n
              <\/li>\n
            • Experience building cloud\-native applications (preferably in Microsoft Azure or AWS)<\/span>\n
              <\/li>\n
            • Experience with Git\-based version control systems (GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar)<\/span>\n
              <\/li>\n
            • Experience with relational databases (preferably SQL Server) and data modeling<\/span>\n
              <\/li>\n
            • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs<\/span>\n
              <\/li>\n
            • Experience with CI\/CD pipelines and DevOps practices<\/span>\n
              <\/li>\n
            • Experience with unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest, or similar)<\/span>\n
              <\/li>\n
            • Experience working in an Agile team environment<\/span>\n
              <\/li>\n
            • Familiarity with agricultural technology, telemetry systems, or data\-intensive platforms is a plus<\/span>\n
