Job description

Location: Burbank, California

Start: October 2026

Type: Full Time

Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 + Performance-based annual bonus tied to partnership revenue targets.

Position Overview: Mythical is looking for a Manager, Brand Partnerships to join our growing Brand division. This role will spend a majority of their time generating new opportunities across Mythical’s slate of content by leveraging their network of brand and ad agency connections.

The role requires someone who understands how to build relationships, identify opportunities, and develop partnerships that deliver against a brand’s objectives while making sense for Mythical and our audience.

Founded by Rhett & Link and home to Good Mythical Morning, Mythical is an independent entertainment company creating shows, podcasts, social content, consumer products, live experiences, and more. Our Brand Partnerships team works with brands and agencies to build partnerships across that ecosystem, from integrations within existing programming to custom opportunities built around our talent, content, platforms, and audience.

In this role, you’ll develop new business from prospecting through pitch, negotiation, and close. You’ll work closely with teams across Mythical to bring the right opportunities forward and ensure what we take to market is creatively strong, commercially sound, and executable.

We’re looking for someone with meaningful relationships across brands and agencies and a demonstrated ability to turn those relationships, client needs, and strong ideas into full-scale 360 partnerships.

The role is eligible for a performance-based annual bonus tied to partnership revenue targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a pipeline and revenue target across new and existing brand partners
  • Develop new business and build relationships with key decision-makers across brands and agencies
  • Identify brands, categories, and opportunities that align with Mythical’s content, talent, audience, and broader business
  • Understand a client’s marketing objectives and translate them into partnership opportunities that make strategic and creative sense
  • Lead pitches and presentations, clearly articulating the value Mythical can bring to a brand’s business
  • Maintain an active pipeline and accurate forecast, moving opportunities from initial conversation through close
  • Partner with creative, production, marketing, social, talent, and legal teams to develop programs that are ambitious, effective, and executable
  • Negotiate deal terms including scope, deliverables, talent participation, usage rights, exclusivity, and integrations
  • Grow existing partner relationships through renewals and new opportunities, while bringing client and marketplace insights back into the business

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in brand partnerships, advertising or media sales, entertainment partnerships, creator marketing, or a comparable revenue-generating role
  • A demonstrated track record of developing and closing brand partnership or advertising business
  • Established relationships with brands, agencies, and advertising decision-makers, and the ability to develop those relationships into new opportunities
  • Experience selling integrated partnerships that may span content, talent, media, sponsorship, social, or experiential
  • A strong understanding of how brands and agencies evaluate marketing investments and partnership opportunities
  • The ability to understand a client’s business, identify the right opportunity, and develop a compelling solution
  • Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills, along with experience managing an active sales pipeline
  • Sound commercial and creative judgment, a strong understanding of digital entertainment, advertising, social media, and the creator economy, and an appreciation for what makes a partnership work for the audience
