Job Description

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar technical related field 

5+ years of MySQL database administration. 

Experience working in a Linux and Windows administration environment 

Experience with highly-available database technology like clustering and replication 

Experience developing database security standards and best practices 

Experience administering MySQL and/or MS SQL Server needed for consideration. 

Preferred: 

Experience developing database security standards and best practices 

Understanding of multi-tier application architecture and technologies (web servers, database servers, load balancers, etc.) 

Command line and scripting knowledge should be very good/excellent. 

Excellent problem solving skills

Qualifications

MYSQL Scripting Language (Perl, Bash, Python, Shell, Ruby)
