Job description

JOB TITLE:

Machinist (Class A)

REPORTS TO:

Management

OVERALL FUNCTIONS

1. Operate all machine tools, equipment and instruments common to machine shop (Lathes, Milling Machines, etc.)

2. Manufacture Production Parts.

3. Fabricate all required fixtures.

4. Fabricate, assemble, troubleshoot and repair production and prototype machinery.

5. Perform Q.C. Functions.

6. CNC Programming/Operation a plus.

MINIMUM LEVEL OF EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

1. High School education with strong background in math.

2. Trade school diploma in machinist trade or equivalent apprentice and on the job training.

3. Must be fluent in both standard and metric measurement system.

4. Minimum of 5 yearsโ€™ experience operating manual milling and turning machines.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
