Job description

A NYC-based family is seeking an experienced, engaging travel nanny to join them in Mykonos for approximately 3–6 weeks (depending on the candidate's availability) from August 1st through September 7th to help care for their 3 children, aged 1, 3 and 5 years. The schedule can be flexible depending on the candidate's preference.

The family will be staying at their in-laws' home in Mykonos and the nanny will be provided with a private bedroom and bathroom.

Additional Information

  • No driving required.
  • No pets.

  • Providing attentive childcare, with care naturally ebbing and flowing between sole charge and working alongside the parents.
  • A "divide and conquer" approach is anticipated—for example, taking the older children out while another adult spends time with the baby.
  • General children's food preparation.
  • Children's laundry.
  • Awareness and careful management of severe food allergies (all nuts and sesame).
  • General support around the children as needed.

Ideal Candidate

  • The family is looking for a candidate with previous experience supporting private families when they travel.
  • They appreciate a nanny who is confident setting appropriate boundaries, can be firm when needed, and communicates openly with the parents as situations arise.
  • Someone who enjoys working collaboratively with parents while also stepping confidently into sole charge when appropriate would be an excellent fit.
