Scientific Drilling is looking for a Pulser Technician to work at our Casper, Wyoming location. Scientific Drilling is an independent directional drilling and wellbore navigation, surveying and logging service company serving customers worldwide. Our industry leading navigation systems provide definitive wellbore placement information, enabling safer and more efficient placement of tightly spaced wellbores throughout the world. We are motivated by crafting innovative and elegant solutions to technically challenging problems. Responsibilities:Repair and maintenance of Scientific Drilling Pulsers (used for MWD Operations)Test and troubleshoot any/all functioning issues on tools received from operationsDisassemble clean and inspect tool components for wear and/or damageAssemble, function test and ready tools for deployment to operationsAble to use solenoid test system to qualify tools for deploymentFill out all required forms, records and documents used in the manufacture/service of Scientific Drilling PulsersQualifications and Experience:High School and/or Associates DegreeProficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Location, Physical Requirements and PPE:Manufacturing:Ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, push, stoop, reach above the shoulder, grasp, pull, bend repeatedly, identify colors, hear with aid, see , write, count, read, speak, analyze, alphabetize, lift and carry 25 lbs. and under, perceive depth, and operate motor equipment.
