Our company is a family owned and operated construction business that has been serving the Colorado Springs community for over 30 years. We are currently looking for an experienced Low Boy Operator. Requirements

Operates a tractor and lowboy trailer to load, unload and transport material, small and heavy equipment to and from job sites.

  • 5 or more years experience operating a Low Boy trailer hauling construction equipment.
  • Must be able to operate equipment.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
  • Drives truck with lowboy trailer to transport various heavy equipment to various construction projects in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
  • Loads and unloads equipment.
  • Makes sure equipment is securely fastened to trailer.
  • Communicates truck/job status to supervisor.
  • Responsible for conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operations of truck. Keeps a driver’s log for DOT. Maintains appearance of truck, keeps proper air pressure in tires, checks fluid levels including oil, hydraulic, coolant and fuel.
  • Interacts with internal and external customers and provides excellent customer service. Maintains good public relations with customer.

REQUIRED: Valid Class A CDL (DOT physical card and current, clean MVR Must have good directional knowledge and be able to navigate from point to point in a safe manner)

Estimated Wage Range: $18 - $27 Pay Type: Hourly

  • No More than 2 Moving Violations or 1 Accident in the Last 3 Years.
  • Must Provide Current MVR.
  • Knowledge of safety standards/precautions pertaining to field construction.
  • Must be safety focused.
  • Must work well with others.
  • Must be dependable.
  • Must pass DOT drug and alcohol test.
  • Must Have Current Medical Card.
