Responsibilities:

MV Transportation is seeking Drivers, who will be responsible for safely operating a transit vehicle.

Now Hiring Public Transit CDL Bus Drivers ($2,500 Bonus) with Full Benefits and Sundays off! 

Training available for Airbrake Endorsement and Passenger Endorsement

Walk-in Welcome Wednesday

10am – 12pm & 1pm – 3pm

Responsibilities:

  • On-time passenger pick-up and delivery.
  • The primary objective of the Driver is providing safe, reliable, and efficient public transportation to all passengers.
  • Ensure safe and clean vehicle condition at the start and end of each shift.
  • Conducting pre and post trip inspections to ensure proper operating condition of vehicle and on-board equipment.
  • Communicating effectively with dispatch or central office via two-way radio.
  • Provide excellent customer service including but not limited to assisting in the boarding and de-boarding of passengers, supplying information, and responding appropriately in the event of emergency.
  • Employing all defensive driving techniques to minimize risk.
  • Focus on safety to reduce the opportunity for injury to self or other employees.
Qualifications:

Driver Minimum Requirements: 

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical. 
  • CDL required. Training for Airbrake Endorsement and Passenger Endorsement. 
  • Possess excellent communication and decision-making skills. 
  • Ability to navigate the service area through use of maps, and knowledge of service area.
  • Provide excellent customer service and demonstrate professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Maintain a strong attendance record and follow company safety and operational rules and procedures.
