Mustard Seed Counseling Center is seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and growth-oriented Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our expanding behavioral health practice serving children, adolescents, adults, older adults, and families throughout Nevada.

As we continue to grow, we are expanding medication management services as part of the Harmonia Wellness Circle™, our integrated approach to emotional wellness that combines therapy, psychiatric services, and supportive resources to promote whole-person care.

This is an exciting opportunity for a provider interested in helping build and shape a growing medication management program within a collaborative and wellness-focused practice.

Position Overview

The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Lifespan Focus) will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborative treatment planning for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.

This position offers both in-office and telehealth opportunities and is ideal for a provider seeking flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to grow alongside an expanding behavioral health organization.

The position has the potential to evolve into a larger role as medication management services continue to expand.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations

  • Provide psychiatric diagnostic assessments across the lifespan

  • Develop individualized treatment plans

  • Provide ongoing medication management services

  • Collaborate with therapists regarding treatment planning and continuity of care

  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

  • Monitor treatment outcomes and medication effectiveness

  • Provide patient and family education regarding medications and treatment options

  • Participate in clinical consultation as needed

  • Support integrated treatment planning within a multidisciplinary environment

Qualifications

Required

  • Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)

  • Active Nevada APRN License

  • DEA Registration

  • Ability to prescribe independently in Nevada

  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

  • Commitment to ethical and client-centered care

Preferred

  • Experience conducting psychiatric evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults

  • Experience serving older adults and individuals experiencing dementia-related concerns

  • Experience providing telehealth services

  • Experience working within collaborative treatment teams

  • Interest in integrated behavioral health and whole-person wellness

  • Interest in helping build innovative behavioral health services

Compensation

Competitive contractor compensation.
