The Opportunity

  • Edit podcast audio and/or video recordings for clarity, quality, flow, and professionalism.
  • Remove long pauses, background noise, filler content, or unnecessary interruptions where appropriate.
  • Add intros, outros, music, transitions, and other branded production elements as needed.
  • Prepare polished final files for review, approval, and distribution.
  • Ensure episodes are consistent in sound, style, pacing, and overall quality.
  • Maintain organized files, naming conventions, and version control for all recordings and edited assets.
  • Assist with organizing podcast assets, including raw recordings, edited files, show notes, clips, and related materials.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders on deadlines, review cycles, and approvals.
  • Support the creation of short-form clips or social media-ready content from podcast episodes, if needed.
  • Help identify moments from recordings that may be useful for promotional or thought-leadership content.
  • Partner with internal teams as needed to support podcast visibility and engagement
  • Support podcast recording sessions, including pre-recording setup, equipment checks, and coordination.
  • Ensure recording spaces are prepared, equipment is ready, and the environment is suitable for recording.
  • Be available onsite for in-person recordings in the Dallas office.
  • Set up microphones, cameras, lighting, recording equipment, and any other needed production tools.
  • Test audio and video quality before recordings begin.
  • Help troubleshoot basic technical issues during recording sessions.
  • Coordinate with podcast hosts, guests, and internal team members to help ensure recordings run smoothly.
  • Support opportunities to record when executives or guests are available onsite.
  • Help create a consistent and repeatable recording process for the Less Than One Percent podcast.
  • Maintain awareness of equipment needs and recommend improvements when appropriate
  • Travel with the CEO and podcast team to conferences, summits, and other events as needed to support podcast production and content capture.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and availability to travel on short notice based on executive schedules, guest availability, and business needs.
  • Capture high-quality photo and video content onsite at conferences, live events, and speaking engagements for use across podcast, social media, and marketing channels.
  • Record behind-the-scenes content, interviews, and event highlights to extend the reach of the Less Than One Percent brand.
  • Coordinate and transport podcast production equipment as needed for remote recordings and offsite events.
  • Partner with internal teams to identify and capture meaningful storytelling opportunities during conferences and executive travel.
  • Support onsite logistics for podcast recordings, executive interviews, and media opportunities while maintaining a professional experience for guests and stakeholders.

Required Experience and Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in related field; or a combination of education and work experience that demonstrates the attainment of the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
  • 2 years minimum experience editing podcast audio and/or video content required.
  • Prior experience supporting a podcast, video series, YouTube channel, media project, or executive thought-leadership platform preferred.
  • Experience creating short-form video clips for social media preferred.
  • Comfortable working with executives, guests, and internal stakeholders preferred.
  • Interest in storytelling, media, healthcare, leadership, entrepreneurship, or mission-driven content preferred.
  • Experience with social media creators, influencers, or digital content strategy is a plus preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically with the CEO and podcast team, including occasional short-notice travel preferred.
  • This role requires flexibility to work evenings and some weekends in support of podcast recordings, conferences, speaking engagements, and other executive events preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to transport production equipment when needed preferred.
  • Familiarity with podcast production tools and software, such as Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, Final Cut Pro, GarageBand, Descript, Riverside, SquadCast, or similar platforms.
  • Basic understanding of audio quality, microphones, cameras, lighting, and recording setup.
  • Ability to support in-person recording sessions as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver polished, professional content.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage files, deadlines, and multiple production steps.
  • Strong technical editing skills with an eye for quality and consistency.
  • Ability to manage both creative and logistical aspects of podcast production.
  • Comfortable setting up and supporting in-person recordings.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Reliable, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
  • Ability to protect confidential conversations, recordings, and organizational information.

We are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $25.74 - $32.18, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible to participate in our annual corporate Success Sharing bonus program, which is based on the company's annual performance. If you are hired at Vituity, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience.
