Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
SCHOOL OF MUSIC AND THE FOUR SEASONS CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL:
The School of Music, in the College of Fine Arts and Communication, has an enrollment of over 250 music majors and minors with over 60 faculty and staff. Now in its 23rd Season, The Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival brings internationally renowned musicians to North Carolina and beyond for concerts, community engagement and interactive initiatives throughout each year.
Primary Purpose of Position
The Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival Operations Manager is an integral part of the Four Seasons administrative team. In coordination with the Artistic Director and the Managing Director, the Operations Manager will coordinate and carry out all concert, initiative, and special events operations and coordinate and carry out all day-to-day operations of the Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival. It is necessary that the Operations Manager be an active participant in all Four Seasons planning and the implementation of all Four Seasons business at the highest level. Working and coordinating with Four Seasons team members, and interacting positively with musicians, patrons, donors, community members, vendors and business partners is an expected part of this position.
Minimum Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Master's degree; or will accept in substitution a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in an administrative capacity or equivalent experience.
