What is a music agency?

A music agency is a company or organization that represents musical artists and helps manage their careers, particularly in booking live performances, negotiating contracts, and promoting their work. Music agencies act as intermediaries between artists and venues, festivals, or event organizers, ensuring that artists get suitable opportunities and fair compensation. They often have connections in the industry and provide valuable support in marketing, logistics, and career development. By handling the business side, music agencies allow artists to focus more on their creative output.
