Warehouse Associate - Pokemon Fossil Museum Exhibition Store (The Field Museum)

Position Title: Warehouse Associate - Pokemon Fossil Museum Exhibition Store (The Field Museum)
Type of Position: Part Time/Seasonal
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Responsibilities
• Execute daily warehouse duties under the direction of the Warehouse Management Team.
• Work with Retail locations to ensure they are properly stocked and fill daily rec orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
• Follow established control procedures for cataloging, inventory control, bulk storage and distribution of materials, equipment and supplies and assist in maintaining this supply system.
• Assist in receipt, storage and distribution of supplies and equipment in large, centralized warehousing operations.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.
• Perform other tasks as deemed necessary.
Requirements
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Exceptional problem solving/decision making skills combined with the ability to be organized.
• Demonstrates the ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.
• Ideal candidate is a team player, personable, professional, upbeat and energetic, and takes initiative.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes (10-49lbs) as necessary to operation, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above.
• Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

• Holiday pay of 1.5x the regular rate is provided for hours worked on Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day.
