Job Description
Location: NYC (Hybrid - at least 4 days onsite/week)
Visa Sponsorship: We offer sponsorship under specific treaty-based U.S. work visas, including TN and E-2 (for eligible Canadian, Mexican, and French citizens). We do not support or transfer other visa types (e.g., H-1B).
We are seeking a highly business-oriented Murex Functional Support Consultant to join a Front Office team. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, with direct interaction with the trading desk and strong exposure to financial products.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily support to Front Office traders
  • Manage the trade lifecycle: Booking, validation, and monitoring
  • Analyze incidents and coordinate with IT teams for resolution
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
  • Participate in system enhancements and ongoing projects (~25%)
  • Collaborate with distributed and offshore teams
  • Ensure platform stability and performance

Environment
  • Murex core platform (functional & configuration layers)
  • Direct interaction with the trading desk
  • Products: Rates, Fixed Income, FX, Swaps
  • International and distributed team setup

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Murex Front Office support
  • Background working with trading desks or Front Office environments
  • Strong understanding of financial products (Fixed income, FX, Equity Derivatives)
  • Ability to understand trades end-to-end
  • Strong functional mindset beyond tool usage
  • Experience handling production issues independently
  • High level of autonomy and ownership
  • Technical knowledge of Murex is required; functional expertise is highly valued
  • Bachelor degree in Computer science, Engineering, Finance or Quantitative finance
