Job Description We are seeking a Murex Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in MxML Exchange, Datamart, MX.3 workflows, and Oracle/Sybase SQL and a proven ability to design, build, and support MX.3 integrations, data flows, and end-to-end workflows. Responsibilities: Develop and support MX.3 integration modules including MxML Exchange, Datamart, and related workflows. Convert existing integration points from Sybase SQL to Oracle PL/SQL and reconcile with Murex database changes. Design and implement MxML workflows and Exchanges, including XSL transformations and XML processing. Create and maintain scripts (bsh, ksh, UNIX shell, Python) to automate operational tasks and integration processes. Assist support teams to resolve integration issues and service requests across environments including cloud preparation activities. Participate in project delivery across analysis, design, build, SIT, and UAT release cycles with rigorous testing coverage. Install, configure, and test packaged interfaces such as MDIT, MarkitWire, BSMT, and MarkitCredit for market and trade data feeds. Develop trade workflows and external interfaces using MXMLExchange, MXopenconnect, Murex APIs, and Datamart to process and acknowledge data feeds. Produce and maintain functional test cases, design documentation, and configuration management packages. Manage support cases from notification to resolution, including validation and stakeholder communication. Collaborate with Front Office, Back Office, Risk, and product teams to define requirements, address defects, and validate fixes. Required Skills & Qualifications: 4+ years of experience with Murex Datamart, MxML Exchange development, and MX.3 workflows. Strong SQL and PL/SQL with Sybase and Oracle, plus XML, XSLT, and JSON proficiency. Hands-on UNIX/Linux and scripting experience (bsh, ksh, UNIX shell, Python). Knowledge of Murex pre-trade framework and Murex Scripting Language (MSL), XMLF, and Data Query Language. Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Git/Bitbucket, ESB, ETL, Apache Camel. Programming exposure in Java/J2EE, Python, or C/C++/C# is valued. Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and organization skills with effective communication abilities. Preferred Skills: Experience with MX.3 Accessibility and Extensibility APIs (.NET, Java, C++), SOAP/REST services, and real-time bridging services.
