Water and Wastewater Engineer/Project Manager
Location: Indiana (Terre Haute, Greencastle, Indianapolis)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Design the Future of Municipal Infrastructure with Fishbeck
Are you an experienced civil engineer ready to expand your career in municipal design? Fishbeck is seeking an experienced engineer to lead the planning and design of water distribution and sanitary sewer systems for communities across Indiana. You'll manage projects from concept through construction, serve as the primary client contact, and contribute to a growing utility practice.
What You'll Work On
  • Lead design and planning for water mains and sanitary and storm sewer projects.
  • Prepare utility master plans, feasibility studies, and preliminary engineering reports.
  • Develop design documents and specifications for bidding.
  • Submit construction permits to regulatory agencies.
  • Manage municipal utility projects from concept to completion.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and clear communication.
  • Collaborate with technical staff across Fishbeck offices to deliver integrated engineering services.
  • Support proposal development and participate in qualifications submissions.
  • Engage daily with project teams in a multi-discipline, multi-office environment.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in utility design.
  • Registered Professional Engineer in Indiana.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to project and client sites as needed.
