AMG Specialty Hospital - Central Indiana Muncie Campus is part of the AMG Integrated Healthcare Management Hospital System- a Top-5 Post-Acute Care Hospital System. Part Time Respiratory Therapists (RT) for Night Shifts

The RT is responsible for the performance of technical work concerned with administering therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities. Operating and monitoring respiratory equipment, such as, continuous and intermittent ventilators, medical gas delivery apparatus, incentive breathing/hyperinflation devices, environmental control systems, and aerosol devices; administering medical gases, humidification, aerosols, and respiratory medications; maintaining clearance of patients natural and artificial airways; obtaining blood samples and interpreting blood gas data; and providing primary assistance in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Job Requirements
  • Completion of an approved respiratory care program
  • Active Indiana Respiratory Therapist License.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Minimum of one to three years of related work experience.
