Job Description

We have an immediate opportunity for a Multimedia Toolkit Lead Developer to lead the design and development of a petabyte-scale multimedia analysis platform. This is a hands-on technical leadership role combining full-stack development, high-throughput data processing, and team leadership to deliver tools that support mission-critical multimedia analysis.  This position is located on site at Clarksburg, West Virginia and is available now.

What You'll Do

  • Lead development of a petabyte-scale multimedia processing and analysis platform, handling high-throughput data workloads
  • Build and maintain full-stack applications using Java on the back end and JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Vue on the front end
  • Lead a technical team: set goals, assign tasks, and drive projects to completion
  • Apply Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices throughout the development lifecycle
  • Troubleshoot complex software issues across the platform's data pipeline and application layers
  • Design and refine user interfaces and workflows to keep tools accessible and efficient for end users
Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • In-depth knowledge of multimedia processing, analysis, and data management, with direct, recent experience building a petabyte-scale multimedia analysis platform
  • Experience developing and maintaining applications that handle petabyte-scale data and high-throughput processing
  • Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Vue
  • Familiarity with Agile development and CI/CD practices
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a technical team, including goal-setting, task assignment, and project delivery
  • Strong problem-solving skills for complex software troubleshooting
  • Experience with UI/UX design principles, ensuring tools are accessible and efficient for end users
