Job description

Our client is a highly seasoned advertising agency known for combining powerful, creative execution with strategic marketing thinking. Building on a strong foundation of existing clients, they are seeking a business development-oriented Account Director to drive new client acquisition and business opportunities, develop and manage ongoing client relationships, and partner with creative leadership to execute multimedia campaigns that move the needle on client business goals.
This is an entrepreneurial role for someone who has a deep understanding of today’s media landscape, digital strategy, and performance marketing. Our client is open to offering equity to the right person who can significantly grow the agency—a unique opportunity for someone motivated by meaningful ownership and the chance to build something.
This is a hybrid role based in Marina del Rey, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development and identify growth opportunities for the agency
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients through proactive outreach and networking
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers and marketing leaders
- Present the agency's capabilities and recommend solutions that align with client needs
- Lead the sales process from initial outreach through close
- Collaborate with internal creative and strategy teams on new business pitches and ongoing client work
- Expand the agency's reputation across all digital and social media marketing channels
- Stay informed on industry trends and identify emerging market opportunities
- Consistently meet or exceed new business development goals
Qualifications:
- 10+ years’ experience within marketing/advertising, at least 5 of which in client services
- Proven experience selling digital marketing, advertising, or creative agency services

- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong initiative
