Job Summary/Description:
Join the creative and collaborative environment of WAFB's Creative Services team! Work with our Promotion, News, and Sales teams on developing creative brand concepts. This position has an emphasis on commercial production: videography, editing, and digital design, for all media platforms, including streaming, broadcast, digital, and social. The position requires a good overall knowledge of video production and digital design, with client satisfaction in mind. Experience in Videography, Premiere, AfterEffects, and Photoshop are all a part of this unique experience! This is a great opportunity to turn your creative inspiration into a career.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Direct and manage every step of the video process, from initial concept to cinematography, audio, and lighting.
* Advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite is a must (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
* Handle multiple complex projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* The ability to craft a creative script with strong writing skills.
* Partner with news and sales teams to bring strategic marketing initiatives to life.
* Ability to work with cameras, lighting, and audio gear.
* Solid technical and computer skills.
* You have an eye for composition, color, typography, and layout.
* You thrive at pace, managing deadlines and shifting priorities with ease and a positive attitude.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Proven writing and communication skills.
• Expert video, photography, lighting, and audio pre/post production skills.
• Proficient in the Adobe Creative Cloud applications with expert knowledge of Premiere and After Effects.
• Strong ability to direct marketing and advertising philosophy and techniques.
• Strong initiative for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• College degree or equivalent job experience in graphic design or video production.
• Ability to lead and manage projects in a team environment.
• Works well with staff and clients.
