Reporting to the Manager, Corporate and Digital Communications, the Coordinator supports the execution of Gildan's corporate and digital communications strategy through digital content creation, channel management, campaign execution, and digital communications initiatives. Working closely with cross-functional teams, this role helps strengthen Gildan's corporate reputation, employer brand, and digital presence across owned channels.

The role

  • Develop and execute engaging digital content for Gildan's corporate website and social media channels, including copy, graphics, photography, video, and other multimedia assets.
  • Manage Gildan's corporate content calendar and social media channels by coordinating editorial planning, reviews and approvals, scheduling, and publishing.
  • Contribute content ideas and storytelling opportunities that support Gildan's key narratives while monitoring emerging content trends and best practices.
  • Support the ongoing management and optimization of GildanCorp.com, including content publishing, SEO, and AI search optimization (AEO/GEO).
  • Support the planning, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns across search and social media platforms.
  • Monitor social media conversations and industry trends through social listening, support day-to-day community engagement, and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Prepare digital communications performance reports by monitoring website, social media, and campaign analytics and providing actionable insights.
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

The requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in communications, corporate marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in written and spoken French is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in digital content creation, including copywriting, graphic design, photography, video editing, and content capture.
  • Experience managing digital channels, including websites and corporate social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube).
  • Experience using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Ads, and other digital reporting and analytics tools.
  • Experience with tools such as Canva and Sprout Social is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience applying SEO principles to digital content. Experience with AI search optimization (AEO/GEO) is considered an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across cross-functional teams.
  • Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented, with strong writing and storytelling skills.
