Multifamily Asset Manager
Monarch Investment & Management Group "MIMG" | Franktown, CO

ย
Drive performance. Shape strategy. Grow a portfolio.
ย
At MIMG we donโ€™t chase industry standards, we redefine them. Ranked #8 among multifamily owners in the country, Monarch owns and operates 79,664 apartment homes across 344 communities in 25 states.
ย
We are privately owned, not a REIT, not a Wall Street group to be traded like a baseball card which means decisions are made by people who care deeply about the properties we acquire and the teams who operate them.
ย
We donโ€™t just buy communities.ย We build value, teams, and long-term careers.
ย
The Opportunity: We are seeking a proven successful Multifamily Asset Manager to help grow and optimize Monarchโ€™s portfolio through acquisitions, operational oversight, and strategic asset planning. You will oversee the administrative, financial, capital, and operational performance of your assigned portfolio while partnering closely with operations, leadership, brokers, and lenders.
ย
This role is based in Franktown, Colorado, with travel throughout the portfolio 25% - 50% of the time. This is not a remote or work from home role.
ย
What Youโ€™ll Do: As an Asset Manager at Monarch, you will:
  • Build and oversee annual operating budgets and long-term financial plans
  • Drive quarter-over-quarter performance improvement across assigned assets
  • Orchestrate a well run operational plan to drive NOI
  • Establish goals and performance expectations for each property
  • Oversee regional and on-site leadership on operational strategy and personnel matters
  • Actively support team development, engagement, and Monarchโ€™s culture
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual portfolio reporting, including financial analysis
  • Review operating statements and performance metrics monthly
  • Develop and analyze 3, 5, and 10-year capital plans and capital needs assessments
  • Evaluate refinancing and restructuring opportunities based on debt and market conditions
  • Build strong relationships with brokers and lenders to position Monarch for future opportunities
  • Evaluate and underwrite potential acquisitions and disposition opportunities
  • Lead due diligence and acquisition closings, including financial and operational reviews
ย
Who Thrives Here:
ย
  • 5โ€“7 years of multifamily operations experience
  • 2โ€“4 years of proven direct multifamily asset management experience
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business, finance, accounting, real estate, or related field
  • Experience overseeing multi-site portfolios across a geographic region
  • Strong financial analysis skills (ROI, cash-on-cash, valuation modeling)
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
ย
Compensation & Benefits: Monarch offers a highly competitive total rewards package:
ย
  • $120,000โ€“$135,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)
  • Bonus potentialย
  • Profit Interest eligibility after 1 year for star performersย
  • Medical insurance starting at $45/month (Blue Cross Blue Shield)
  • Free basic dental & life insuranceย
  • 401(k) with up to 3% company match
  • Generous Paid Time Off
  • Paid holidays
  • Vision & disability insurance
  • Free skiing at Monarch Mountain for your entire immediate familyย
ย
Why Monarch: At Monarch, Asset Managers are not back-office analysts, they are strategic hand-on leaders. Youโ€™ll have the autonomy, tools, and executive support to execute at a high level while building a long-term career with a company that promotes from within.
