Job description

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Service Technician with a background in the chemical industry to join our team in Midland, TX. The Service Technician will play a key role in providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services for our chemical products and equipment at customer sites.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, calibrate, and maintain chemical injection and treatment equipment at customer locations, ensuring proper functionality and performance.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on chemical systems, pumps, valves, and associated components to identify and address any issues or potential failures.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs or replacements as needed to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to develop and implement customized chemical treatment programs and solutions that meet specific operational requirements and objectives.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers on the proper use, handling, and maintenance of chemical products and equipment.
  • Document service activities, equipment inspections, and maintenance records accurately and in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification in a relevant field preferred.
  • Prior experience in the chemical industry, specifically in roles related to chemical treatment, blending, or injection systems.
  • Familiarity with chemical products and equipment used in oil and gas production, water treatment, or related industries.
  • Experience working with chemical companies such as Baker Hughes, Jacam Catalyst, Innospec, Imperative Chemicals, Multichem, or Pine Island preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
