Job Duties
  • Under general supervision, operates company vehicles for the purpose of ensuring the delivery of quality customer service, world-class safety, and business segment efficiency.
  • Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities.
  • Operates company vehicles to move materials, tools, and equipment to and from work locations in support of internal and external customers.
  • Loads and unloads vehicles.
  • Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing PPE.
  • Performs other duties and activities as directed.
Qualifications

Work Authorization: Candidates who are not legally authorized to work in the United States will not be considered. Halliburton will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

  • Requires completion of a high school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Must have a current and valid Class A CDL (commercial driver's licenese) with clean motor vehicle record.
  • Minimum of 5 years of CDL experience with manual transmission and winter driving required. 
  • Must have a satisfactory driver record with no DWI/DUI convictions in the past three years or any current DWI/DUI charges.
  • Driving experience on the Dalton Highway is highly preferred. 
  • Must be able to work a rotating schedule.
  • Must be able to work in a warehouse environment and perform physically demanding tasks, including tarping loads. 
  • Able to pass background, physical and drug screen. 
  • Able to lift up to 60lbs.  
  • Able to pass background, physical and drug screen.
  • Maintains a strong focus on safety with adherence to all company and regulatory standards. 
  • Able to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions.
  • Able to communicate effectively with others.  
  • Basic reading comprehension and writing skills required.

Additional Information:

  • Halliburton covers the first flight from the lower 48 to Anchorage, AK. 
  • 10% Alaska living allowance available to employee's whose primary residence is in Alaska. 
  • 5% Alaska living allowance available to employee's whose primary residence is outside of Alaska
  • Lodging and meals provided during scheduled work rotation
  • Position is eligible for a travel stipend of $700/month for employee’s whose primary residence is outside of Alaska.  
  • Employee's residing outside of Alaska are responsible for coordinating their own travel to and from Anchorage, AK for their work rotation as well as their own transportation to and from the airport and the Halliburton facility in Anchorage. 
  • 2 weeks on 2 weeks off schedule or a 3 weeks on 3 weeks off schedule, with a Tuesday start date Halliburton reserves the right to adjust schedules based on industry needs.
