Job description

MULTI-UNIT RESTAURANT AREA LEADER – QSR

Charlotte, NC
$75,000–$90,000 Base Salary + Bonus + Monthly Allowances

Three to four restaurants. One local market. A multi-unit role where you can know your General Managers, understand each business, and see the results of your leadership.

We are seeking a Restaurant Area Leader to oversee three to four quick-service locations in Charlotte, NC. This is an opportunity to expand your influence without inheriting an oversized territory, spending nights away from home, or becoming disconnected from the teams you lead.

You will have the scope and responsibility of a multi-unit position with a territory small enough for you to remain visible, build strong relationships, and make a measurable difference in every restaurant.

If you are already leading multiple QSR locations, this could offer the focused territory and earning potential you want. If you are an exceptional General Manager ready to advance, this could be your opportunity to move into multi-unit leadership.

WHY THIS COULD BE THE RIGHT NEXT MOVE

• $80,000–$95,000 base salary
• Performance bonus opportunity tied to the success of your restaurants
• Monthly car and phone allowance
• A focused territory of only three to four Charlotte-area locations
• Local travel without an extensive multi-state territory
• Greater responsibility without losing your connection to restaurant operations
• The opportunity to lead through General Managers instead of personally managing every shift
• A position where developing people and improving results both matter

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

Your primary responsibility will be helping each General Manager build a successful restaurant. You will provide direction, create accountability, remove obstacles, and give your leaders the tools and coaching they need to deliver results.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading and developing the General Managers of three to four restaurants
• Helping each GM take full ownership of staffing, operations, financial performance, and team culture
• Improving sales, profitability, labor, food cost, speed of service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction
• Building a strong pipeline of managers and future General Managers
• Strengthening recruiting, training, retention, and succession planning
• Reviewing performance results and turning the numbers into practical action plans
• Recognizing potential problems early and helping restaurant leaders correct them
• Maintaining high standards for food quality, service, safety, and restaurant presentation
• Creating consistency across the area while addressing the individual needs of each location
• Spending meaningful time in the restaurants without micromanaging your General Managers

THE EXPERIENCE THAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED

We want to meet restaurant leaders who know how to achieve results through other people. You should be comfortable setting expectations, having direct conversations, recognizing strong performance, and coaching managers who need additional development.

The strongest candidates will bring:

• 3+ years in Multi-unit leadership experience in quick-service or fast-casual restaurants; or a proven record as a high-performing QSR General Manager ready for the next level
• Experience developing managers and building stable restaurant teams
• Strong knowledge of staffing, scheduling, training, inventory, food cost, labor management, and restaurant operations
• The ability to understand financial and operational reports and turn them into action
• A record of improving restaurant performance and holding leaders accountable
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• A leadership style that combines clear expectations with coaching and support
• The ability to travel regularly among three to four Charlotte-area restaurants

This is not a position where you will only inspect restaurants, complete reports, and move on to the next location. You will be expected to know your leaders, understand your businesses, and help your General Managers become stronger operators.

If you want the next step in your restaurant career to offer broader influence, competitive compensation, a manageable local territory, and the opportunity to build successful leaders, apply today.

All qualified applications will be handled confidentially.
