Job Title: Assistant Manager

Location: New Orleans, LA

Salary: $43,000 - $52,000/year (DOE)


What We're Looking For:


We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join the leadership team at a high-volume location operated by a Metairie-based multi-unit restaurant development group with well-known national brands across Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. This is a hands-on, shift-driven leadership role supporting the General Manager in day-to-day operations.


The ideal candidate has prior restaurant supervisory or management experience, leads confidently from the floor during peak volume, and is looking for a company that invests in developing its managers. This is a strong opportunity for a shift leader or hourly supervisor ready to step into a salaried management role.


Key Responsibilities


  • Run shifts and lead the team on the floor through high-volume service periods.
  • Support the General Manager in daily operations across front-of-house and back-of-house.
  • Uphold brand service standards, cleanliness, and speed of service on every shift.
  • Coach, train, and motivate hourly team members in the moment.
  • Handle guest concerns directly and resolve issues before the guest leaves.
  • Execute opening, closing, and shift-change procedures accurately.
  • Assist with scheduling, labor management, and daily cash handling.
  • Support inventory counts, ordering, receiving, and product rotation.
  • Enforce food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, and safety standards.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture centered on communication, integrity, and appreciation.
