Medical Billing Representative
  • A very busy & growing home based medical billing company is looking for a person to take on the important role of entering our clients billing & account follow up. Experience with Medisoft & Revenue Management preferred.  Knowledge of Availity, Office Ally, data entry, payment posting, working with insurance companies, dealing with patient, answering telephones, scheduling patients, also preferred.  Experience is not required and willing to train with growth into Management. Prior experience working with Chiropractic, Podiatry & Mental Health is a plus!!  The position is located in Lombard, IL Please only apply if you live 30 minutes or less from Lombard, IL.

Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Office
  • Excel and technology knowledge (Required)
  • Payer portal and clearinghouse experience (Preferred)
  • Must possess the ability to enter data quickly and accurately.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology, CPT Codes, HCPCS, Revenue Codes, Modifiers and Diagnosis Codes
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize monthly workflow.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • Expected hours: 20 per week
