Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of utility services projects. This role oversees resource allocation, leads a team of up to 25 technicians, and manages team development, customer engagement, and the achievement of production, quality, and safety objectives. It requires a balance of operations management, field leadership, and client relations to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and to the satisfaction of our customers.

Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of utility services projects, from planning through execution and close-out.

Resource Management

  • Optimize personnel, equipment, and other resources to maximize productivity and meet project goals.
  • Anticipate and resolve resource conflicts in a fast-paced environment.

Team Leadership

  • Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Lead field crews by setting expectations, providing support, and fostering a culture of safety and accountability.

Strategic Oversight

  • Implement scalable processes and systems to support growth and efficiency.
  • Make strategic operational decisions to align company and client objectives.

Customer Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for utility customers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop strong relationships by providing responsive communication, proactive updates, and solutions to challenges.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in operations management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in operations management, project management, or utility/field services.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, multi-site projects and distributed teams.
  • Utility Industry Experience Preferred
