Job description

A national provider of commercial, industrial, and residential facility and fleet maintenance services is seeking a seasoned Inside Sales Manager to build, train, and lead a high-performing inside sales organization.
This role will oversee outbound B2B commercial sales representatives as well as inbound B2C sales representatives, supporting a diverse portfolio of recurring and project-based services including facility maintenance, pressure washing, fleet cleaning, building services, and specialty cleaning solutions. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, improving close rates, and creating a performance-driven sales culture.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment and enjoys developing people and scalable sales processes.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and train inbound B2C and outbound B2B inside sales representatives
  • Lead daily sales activities, including call coaching, pipeline reviews, and performance management
  • Establish clear performance expectations and ensure accountability to individual and team sales goals
  • Mentor and develop representatives into consistent, high-performing contributors

Sales Strategy & Execution
  • Manage outbound prospecting efforts targeting commercial customers such as retail, industrial, fleet, and facility operators
  • Oversee inbound lead conversion for residential and small commercial customers
  • Partner with marketing and operations to ensure effective lead handoff and customer experience
  • Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates, average deal size, and recurring revenue

Motivation & Performance Programs
  • Design and implement incentive and motivational programs that drive consistent goal attainment
  • Foster a competitive, positive, and results-oriented sales culture
  • Track and report key KPIs including activity levels, close rates, forecast accuracy, and revenue performance

Process & Performance Improvement
  • Document and refine sales processes, scripts, and onboarding programs
  • Leverage CRM tools to manage pipeline visibility and forecasting
  • Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and consistent execution of sales best practices

Required Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of experience leading an inside sales or call-center sales team
  • Proven experience managing both outbound B2B and inbound B2C sales motions
  • Demonstrated success hiring, training, and scaling inside sales representatives
  • Strong background in building incentive programs and driving performance through motivation
  • Experience selling services or solutions with recurring revenue and/or project-based pricing
  • Comfort managing activity-based sales teams with defined KPIs
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales performance reporting
